086 The 4-7-8 breathing technique | How to reduce anxiety
Let's face it, life can be really tough sometimes and it can all get a little too stressful! So wouldn't it be cool to show you an easy breathing technique to help you reduce your anxiety?
Let me introduce the 4-7-8 breathing technique...
The 4-7-8 breathing technique also known as “relaxing breath,” is where you breathe in for 4 seconds, you hold the breath for 7 seconds, and then exhale for 8 seconds.
Research has proven that this breathing pattern can help reduce anxiety and even help people get to sleep.
As well as it reducing Anxiety, it can decrease fatigue, manage your stress and even reduce hypertension.
I used the 4-7-8 breathing technique when I was suffering with some anxiety about a year ago and by using this relaxing technique, it allows me to reduce my anxiety and get myself back to my baseline and tackle any challenge I may be feeling anxious about.
